Charles "Chuck" Gregory is a retired professional musician and guitarist with 50+ years of experience in the music industry. He taught guitar for 8 years, was a vocal coach for 6 years, and played guitar in several rock bands. He takes pride in operating a mom & pop shop in his hometown and one of his favorite lines is " I HAVE NEVER WORKED A DAY IN MY LIFE BECAUSE I AM DOING WHAT I LOVE". STRING INSTRUMENTS ~ LUTHIER
Patrick Thomas Jr. is a professional Luthier who has been with Musicians 1 Stop for 12 years. He attended Luthiers International in Georgia and has over 20 years of experience. Those who have had the opportunity to see his work would agree he is one of the best around.
Richard "Dick" Tobin is our Piano instructor. Dick came to join Musicians 1 Stop in 2010. Has been playing for 50+ years. Started young with the nuns at St. Mary's. Moved to Norfolk, VA in the '80s, played with a blues band, and opened for several national acts. Later he returned home to Marion and started playing in country bands. We are so happy to have him as part of the MUSICIANS 1 STOP FAMILY! He enjoys teaching and when not teaching he is out and about playing for many Nursing Homes. He is a GREAT GUY AND CAN MAKE A PIANO SING!!!
Steven Mull is our guitar instructor. Steve started playing guitar at the age of 12. He has several years of teaching some of which were right here in this building when it was Harden Music and then worked at Erickson's Music also here in Marion. While serving in the U.S. Army he traveled entertaining troops in the areas of danger where the big shows could not perform. Steve joined the band Dry Run in the early '80s and currently still plays with them. Also performs solo shows and a few engagements with his daughter as a duo "After Silver".
